
I knew right away I wanted the slides to look minimalist and professional. I stuck with the blue colour scheme since the colour is already associated with water, oceans, lakes, rain, etc. I used both of the blues in the brand guide. I also varied the colour’s hues and transparency to layer on top of photos.

The way I worked was that I made sure I was 100% happy with the first/introduction slide, as it is the first thing that can capture the audience’s attention, just like the cover of a book. For visual elements, I didn’t want too many varying icons as I don’t think it fits the professional theme. However I did use the raindrop icon consistently, as it matched the logo, and it was simplistic enough to not be distracting.
